New Art

Stuff I have done recently.

I did this tank and sidecovers for a friend and fellow Marine. They off of his Yamaha V-Star 1100 classic. The designs were done with Auto Air paints and primarilly metallics and pearls, except for the back ground flames which were done in transparents.

All were cleared with PPG Concept 2002 using DX 61 hardener. Cut and buff was done with the 3M Perfect It III system. Masking tape was 3M and paint mask was Transferite vinyl transfer tape.

Puff!

Kent wasn't too particular about stlye, he just wanted a dragon. Sooo, since I have been talking with a few other airbrushers about the "ol' skool" 70's stlye airbrush work I thought I'd give it a try. Not having any reference pictures, I simply winged only knowing that most of the period art was heavily stenciled.

Side Cover Numero Uno!

This is the left side cover. It was done with a white mettallic and the picture does not do this paint justice. It is sweet!! The design is of a tattoo.

Side Cover Numero Dos!

Right side cover and this design is also of a tattoo.
